If the inequality statement is false, the oscillation experiment must be performed with a
larger value for h
To check the settings additionally, the hoist can be moved to any height. Using the
equations specified above, calculate the effective pendulum length and the resultant
oscillation frequency at this hoisting height. The oscillation frequency can be monitored in
display monitor 8 and must be checked, for example, by a trace recording of the real camera
angle.
9.5.9

Monitoring the camera measuring system

Monitoring of the camera measuring system with error message E4 (camera measuring system
faulted) is still active. It is possible to adjust the period until an error is triggered between 0 and
100 s using parameter P127 (trigger time for camera error).
The deflection determined by the camera measuring system is required as an input of the
internal observer for the skew damping function. In the event of a prolonged camera measuring
system failure, the control system does not operate satisfactorily. In this regard, the skew
damping function is significantly more sensitive than the sway control system for the trolley.
For this reason, an additional monitoring system is provided. This responds if the
bCamera_Valid status bit from the DCC block DCC_SCCAMERA was equal to 1 for a time
period P312 (time window camera fault detection TLS) in a lower percentage of SIMOTION
cycles than specified in P313 (camera fault trigger threshold TLS). When this is true, the error
message E69 (E_cam_err_tls) is activated and the error bit 0 is set in error word FAULT2 (DCC
block DCC_SCCOMMON).
No response to this error message is programmed in the software. The user is therefore
responsible for programming a suitable reaction (e.g. deactivation of the skew damping
function with the AS_ON control bit).
Note
It is advisable to set parameter P312 to a lower value than P127.
Note
Error E69 might be output even when the camera measuring system is working correctly. If this
problem occurs, the response threshold in P313 must be reduced accordingly.
