6.2.4

Sway neutralization load position (SNL)

6.2.4.1

Method of operation

The sway neutralization load position mode (only for the version with the SIMOCRANE
CenSOR camera measuring system) is used to eliminate load sway from the stationary state.
Constant load deflections are not taken into account.
Sway neutralization load position mode is the same as positioning mode except for the fact that
the target position is specified internally and corresponds to the load position at the moment the
TRAVEL control bit is set when the mode is activated.
Calculation of the load position:
Load position = actual position of the drive + pendulum deflection
Sway neutralization results in slight travel movements on both sides of the target position. The
signal sequence corresponds to that of positioning.
This operating mode can only be used for the trolley when STS is selected.

Activation

Sway neutralization load position mode is activated by setting the SNL control bit.
6.2.4.3

Control

The control of SNL mode is the same as the Control (Page 152) of POS mode.

Sway neutralization drive position (SND)

6.2.5.1

Functional principle

The "sway neutralization drive position" operation mode (only for the version with the
SIMOCRANE CenSOR camera measuring system) is used to eliminate load sway from
standstill.
"Sway neutralization drive position" mode is the same as "positioning" mode except that the
target position is specified internally and corresponds to the actual position of the drive at the
moment the control bit "TRAVEL" is set while the mode is active.
Sway neutralization results in slight travel movements on both sides of the target position.
The signal sequence corresponds to that of positioning.
This operation mode can only be used for the trolley when STS is selected.
6.2.5.2 Activation
Control bit "SND" is set to activate "Sway neutralization drive position" mode.
