Special situations

Pay particular attention to the following aspects:
● To avoid overloading the circular buffer with irrelevant information, note the following:
– If the target generator is active, only valid target positions will be acquired.
– Obstacles are only stored when travel is started in semi-automatic mode (SAM).
● The bits are displayed in exactly the same way as on the SIMOCRANE CeCOMM monitor
pages.
To make it easier to interpret the bits shown, additional help screens have been
implemented (CeComm "PLC" interface [1] -> "?" key).
● The logger detects when the SIMOTION D4x5-2 DP/PN switches from "Stop" to "RUN". A
line with the content "STOP → RUN" is entered in the logger.
● It is not possible to switch between languages. The interactive guidance for operating the
logger is in English.
● The display of the target positions distinguishes between targets coming from the crane
control system and targets coming from the target generator when it is active.
The following cases are distinguished:
– If the target generator is active, "_TG" is added to the target position.
– If the target generator is not active, there is no such identification.

Handling the "Logger" function in SIMOCRANE CeCOMM

Below you will find information about the "Logger" function.
Open the logger menu
1. Start the SIMOCRANE CeCOMM diagnostic program.
2. Open the main menu or the monitor pages.
3. Press the <L-Logger> key.
The logger menu is opened.
On-screen displays
You can select the following displays:
● Display of the logger content in the SIMOCRANE CeCOMM diagnostic program
● Description of the control bits
● Description of the status bits
● Description of the error bits
