8.7 Diagram - trace function
Note
When the spreader is locked to a container, all blocked regions are increased by the value in
parameter P108 (maximum container height in mm).
If a container is removed, i.e. when both control bits LOCKED_BIT0 and LOCKED_BIT1 are
reset, the blocked region reduces again by P108.

TLS trace

To record TLS values, set a checkmark for TLS in the dialog box on the first tab (see Figure 8-22
Diagram function, F2-Start, Axes tab (Page 290)). Once you have done this, you can select TLS
signals to be traced on the three other tabs.
You will also find an explanation of the terms used in this chapter in Chapter TLS monitors
(Page 277).
Fixed signals
On each tab, there are twelve fixed signals (for each axis) that can be selected to be traced. The
signal names in the corresponding fields can be switched over by selecting/deselecting the
checkmark for "Show TLS-Text" between trolley/hoist and TLS. These are mainly signals
from Table 8-1 TLS signals (Page 278).
Note on 4th tab:
Signal 1 (TLS=zero):
Signal 2 (TLS=motion_terminated):
Signal 3 (TLS=skew_removed):
Signal 4 (TLS=motion_term_ska):
Signal 5 (TLS=OM Mode comm.):
Signal 6 (TLS=OM TLS-Inching):
Signal 7 (TLS=OM move_ to_zero):
Signal 8 (TLS=OM TLS-Pos.):
Signal 9 (TLS=waterside):
Signal 10 (TLS=active skew on):
The fourth tab contains a further four variable traces.
