7.2 TLS modes and TLS functions
Section 2:
● Deselect "TLS jogging" mode.
In this example: Reset the "trim_right" control bit (STW1_PLC_TLS, bit 8).
● Depending on the control selected in STW1_PLC_TLS, the status bits 8 ... 15 change to
"false".
In this example:
– "c_in" (ZSW1_PLC_TLS, bit 14)
– "d_in" (ZSW1_PLC_TLS, bit 15)
– "a_out" (ZSW1_PLC_TLS, bit 8)
– "b_out" (ZSW1_PLC_TLS, bit 9)
● The output velocities of cylinders A ... D "BSPEED_A_NORM", "BSPEED_B_NORM",
"BSPEED_C_NORM" and "BSPEED_D_NORM" are reduced to zero.
● The "motion_terminated" status bit (ZSW1_TLS_PLC, bit 3) changes to "true" when the
motion ceases.
Section 3:
● Deactivate the move command by resetting the "move" control bit (STW1_PLC_TLS, bit 5).
● The cylinders are stationary.

"TLS positioning" mode

7.2.4.1

Versions of "TLS positioning" mode

This mode moves the cylinders to internally stored target positions. These are stored
separately for the land and water sides. The target position is set to the most recently
approached actual position of the particular side. When the limit is exceeded, the target position
of the other side becomes active. The land and water sides are distinguished by means of
parameter P26.
The following versions are possible:
● Version V1: Move to internally stored trim, list and skew positions
● Version V2: Move to externally defined skew position and internally stored trim and list
positions
● Version V3: Move to and hold internally stored trim, list and skew positions
● Version V4: Move to externally defined skew position and hold internally stored trim and list
positions
Version V1: Move to internally stored trim, list and skew positions
If the system is in one of the TLS modes "TLS jogging" or "go to zero positions," depending on
the position of the trolley (landside or waterside), the current actual positions (trim, list, skew)
are stored for the landside or waterside. If "TLS positioning" is selected, the landside or
waterside positions are approached depending on the position of the trolley.
