3.2.1 Description
The CC-CP00 blade is available only for the SV8300 system.
The CC-CP00 controls all the functions and operations of the
SV8300 system using the system software loaded into the CC-CP00
memory. The system software can be upgraded as new software
becomes available.
One CC-CP00 blade must be installed in the Controlling Chassis. A
second CPU can be installed in the first Expansion Chassis if
additional VoIP or voice mail resources are required. A second
CCPU can also be used for a CCPU redundancy feature (primary/
secondary CCPUs) as a backup in case of a hardware failure. (The
CCPUs must be programmed for primary/secondary operation.)
The CC-CP00 functions are:
