Figure 77: Installing the Mounting Hardware for a Four-Post Rack or Cabinet
NOTE:
The two rear flanges on the four-post mounting shelf are adjustable from 24 in. (60.96 cm)
through 30 in. (76.2 cm) to accommodate different types of racks rails.
There must be a minimum of 24-U unobstructed front-to-back usable rack space when
installing the MX2008 router into a four-post rack or cabinet.
Removing the Center-Mounting Brackets
The center-mounting brackets are not used for a four-post rack, and must be removed from the chassis.
To remove the center-mounting brackets from the chassis:
