Example 4: Making Droop Measurement

The following command sequences provide the example to measure droop.
"–>" indicates the commands that you send to the 8990B.
NOTE
This measurement example requires the following test setup:

Wait 1 sec for operation to complete.
-> *CLS
-> FREQ 1GHZ

Test setup for droop measurement
//Presets the E4438C to its default settings.
//Clears the error queue.
//Sets the frequency to 1 GHz.
//Sets the output power level to 0 dBm.
//Sets the pulse period to 10 μs.
//Sets the pulse width to 4 μs.
//Turns on the pulse signal.
