STATus Subsystem

Refer to "Status Block Diagram" at the end of this chapter to view the

relationship between various registers in the 8990B SCPI status system.

The STATus command subsystem enables you to examine the status of the 8990B

by monitoring the following status registers:

– Device status register

– Operation status register

– Questionable status register

The contents of these and other registers in the 8990B are determined by one or

more status registers.
