5.4 FS100 Replacement
14. Select {YES} or {NO}.
– If {YES} is selected, the network configuration in the FS100 is
overwritten and the contents of the loaded "CMOS.BIN" file are
reflected to the CMOS in the FS100.
– If {NO} is selected, the network configuration in the FS100 is not
updated and the other data are reflected to the CMOS in the FS100.
When the "CMOS load" is performed, the current CMOS data is
replaced with the CMOS data (the contents of "CMOS.BIN") in the
selected device.
After the "CMOS load", check if the contents written in the FS100 are
the same as before, and check to be sure that safety is confirmed with
the current manipulator position and also confirm these motions shown
in the list below. After that, start the manipulator's operation.
Confirm that axes can be operated normally in the teach mode.
Move all axes to the pulse value "0" and confirm that they
correspond to the home position.
Press the emergency stop button on the programming pendant to
confirm that it performs properly.
Perform the jobs that were registered by the FWD operation to
confirm that they can be operated normally.
Confirm that the manipulator can be started up safely at its current
position.
If the manipulator is started up before confirming these items above,
injury may result from unintentional or unexpected manipulator motion.
