Drive new bearings into the differential case and
cover.
TOOLS:
Driver
Attachment, 52 x 55 mm
Pilot, 28 mm
Apply grease to new oil seal lips and install them
into the differential case and cover.
TOOL:
Attachment, 20 mm I.D.
PINION NEEDLE BEARING
Rotate the stopper ring until the end of the stopper
ring appears in the access hole.
Strike gently near the end of the ring with a punch
to bent the end upward.
Grasp the end of the ring with needle-nosed pliers
and pull the stopper ring out through the access
hole.
Heat the gear case to about 80°C (176°F) and
remove the needle bearing by using the special
tools.

Remover head, 15 mm
Bearing remover shaft
may cause
Remover weight
warpage.
Install a new stopper ring into the groove in a new
bearing.
