outer races and
grease holders
must be replaced
as a set if any part
is damaged or

Remove the universal joint.
Check the joint boot for tears or other damage and
replace it if necessary.
INSPECTION
Remove the pivot bearings from the swingarm piv-
ots.
Check the bearing rollers, dust seals and outer races
for wear or damage.

Drive the grease holder into the swingarm to
remove it.

Attachment, 22 x 24 mm
Remove the outer race from the swingarm using the
special tools.
