Example
The following example applies SNAP encapsulation for VLAN 15.

ip address
Use the ip address command in Interface Configuration mode to configure an IP address on an
interface. Also use this command to configure one or more secondary IP addresses on the
interface. This command changes the label IP address in the show IP interface.
Syntax
ip address
no ip address
ip-address — IP address of the interface.

subnet-mask — Subnet mask of the interface

prefix-length — Length of the prefix. Must be preceded by a forward slash (/). (Range: 1-30

bits)
secondary — Indicates the IP address is a secondary address.
