show logging

Use the show logging command in Privileged EXEC mode to display the state of logging and
the syslog messages stored in the internal buffer. The switch maintains a log of power
consumption and temperature status changes (not temperature changes) from boot up or since
the log was enabled, with timestamps.
Syntax
show logging
Default Configuration
This command has no default configuration.

This command has no user guidelines.
Example
The following example displays the state of logging and the syslog messages stored in the
internal buffer.
console#show logging
Logging is enabled.
Console Logging: level warning. Console Messages: 18 Dropped.
Buffer Logging: level info. Buffer Messages: 18 Logged,
File Logging: level notActive. File Messages: 19 Dropped.
CLI Command Logging : disabled
Web Session Logging : disabled
SNMP Set Command Logging : disabled
0 Messages were not logged.
