If switches exist on the VLAN and IGMP snooping is not enabled, use the bridge multicast
forward-all command to enable forwarding all Multicast packets to the Multicast routers.

In this example, bridge Multicast filtering is enabled.

bridge multicast forbidden address

Use the bridge multicast forbidden address command in Interface Configuration mode to
forbid adding a specific Multicast address to specific ports. To return to the system default, use
the no form of this command. If routers exist on the VLAN, do not change the unregistered
multicast addresses state to

bridge multicast forbidden address {
interface-list
remove} {ethernet
no bridge multicast forbidden address {
add — Adds ports to the group.
remove — Removes ports from the group.
mac-multicast-address — MAC Multicast address.
ip- multicast-address — IP Multicast address.
interface-list — Separate nonconsecutive valid Ethernet ports with a comma and no spaces;
use a hyphen to designate a range of ports.
port-channel-number-list — Separate nonconsecutive valid port-channels with a comma and
no spaces; use a hyphen to designate a range of port-channels.
Default Configuration
No forbidden addresses are defined.

User Guidelines
Before defining forbidden ports, ensure that the Multicast group is registered.
Examples
In this example the MAC address 01:00:5e:02:02:03 is forbidden on port 2/g9 within VLAN 8.
