ip pimsm rp-candidate
The ip pimsm rp-candidate command is used to configure the router to advertise itself as a PIM
candidate rendezvous point (RP) to the bootstrap router (BSR). Use the "no" form of this
command to disable the router to advertise itself as a PIM candidate rendezvous point (RP) to
the bootstrap router (BSR). This command deprecates the ip pimsm crppreference command.
Syntax
ip pimsm rp-candidate vlan
ip pimsm rp-candidate vlan
vlanid — A valid VLAN ID.

group-address — Group IP address supported by RP.

group-mask — Group subnet mask for group address.
