ipv6-address — Specifies an IPv6 address for which the best-matching route would be
displayed.
protocol — Specifies the protocol that installed the routes. Is one of the following keywords:
connected, ospf, static.
ipv6-prefix/ipv6 prefix-length — Specifies a IPv6 network for which the matching route would
be displayed.
interface — Valid IPv6 interface. Specifies that the routes with next-hops on the selected
interface be displayed.
all — Specifies that all routes including best and non-best routes are displayed. Otherwise,
only the best routes are displayed. If the connected keyword is selected for protocol, the all
option is not available because there are no best or non-best connected routes.

The following example displays the IPv6 routing table.

show ipv6 route preferences

Use the show ipv6 route preferences command in Privileged EXEC mode to show the
preference value associated with the type of route. Lower numbers have a greater preference.
