Function description
Alarms have the following properties:
• Incoming alarms have no direct influence on the converter.
• Alarms disappear when the cause is eliminated.
• Alarms do not have to be acknowledged.
• Alarms are displayed as follows:
– Display via bit 7 in status word 1 (r0052)
– Display in Startdrive
– Display in the SINAMICS G120 Smart Access
The alarm code or alarm value describes the cause of the alarm.
Alarm buffer
The converter saves incoming alarms in the alarm buffer. An alarm includes an alarm code,
an alarm value, and two alarm times:
• Alarm code: r2122
• Alarm value: r2124 in fixed-point format "I32", r2134 in floating-point format "Float"
• Alarm time received = r2145 + r2123
• Alarm time removed = r2146 + r2125
The converter takes its internal time calculation to save the alarm times.
Up to 8 alarms can be saved in the alarm buffer.
In the alarm buffer, the warnings are sorted according to "Warning time received". If
the alarm buffer is completely filled and an additional alarm occurs, then the converter
overwrites the values with Index [7].
