The light curtain supply inputs are protected by internal fuses which cannot be replaced
by the user. Use of external protection fuses (1A) is highly recommended.
•
It takes 200 ms for the light curtain to start at power up.
CONNECTION OF THE GROUND TERMINALS
The ground terminal of the receiver and the emitter must be connected to the main
ground of the machine.
Failure to comply with these instructions may result in product damage.
All of the FF-SYA Series light curtains have the same connections for power. The two
next figures show the Emitter and the receiver connections.
•
The wire gauge of the ground connection should be equal to the power supply wire gauge.
•
The length of the ground connection wire should be as short as possible (refer to EN
60204).
