Indication
The machine does not switch off
when an object is detected in the
safety zone

Possible Cause
If the red safety output LED is
illuminated, the object is detected
but the safety outputs signal are
not getting to the machine control
circuitry.
If the red safety output LED is
NOT illuminated, the object is not
detected. No safety outputs
signals are being sent to the
machine control circuitry.
Corrective Action
Properly seat the cable
between the sensor "outputs" and the
machine.
Repair or replace
pins/receptacles as required.
Use a personal computer
FFSE.EXE software
redefine alarm and safety zones. If the
fault cannot be rectified, return the sensor
to Honeywell (see section 8.1.2 Sales and
service).
