Perimeter System Wiring

IMPROPER CONTROL SYSTEM
Ensure independent stop circuit relays have mechanically linked contacts that prevent contact
overlapping in the event of a welded contact.
Failure to comply with these instructions could result in death or serious injury.
The following figures illustrate the electrical wiring of the safety perimeter systems . The
customer is responsible for providing the safety relays, R, the restart push-button, the arc
suppressors, and the test circuit. The two NO safety contacts and the NC safety contact of the
FF-SPS4 are designed to switch at a minimum of 50 mA.
