IMPROPER INSTALLATION OF COMBINED MAT AND MULTI-BEAM TRIP DEVICES
• Ensure the operator cannot stand between the machine and the sensing zone without
activating the safety mat.
• Ensure the operator cannot cross the safety mat without activating the multi-beam trip
devices.
Failure to comply with these instructions could result in death or serious injury.
If zone guarding protection is required, and the machine stopping time is too long in duration
to allow the use of a safety mat alone, use a mat with a multi-beam trip device.
