Step 2 - Wire the 40FY sensor as follows:
• If wiring a 2-wire AC type sensor, refer to Wiring
Diagrams (2-wire AC).
SENSOR DAMAGE
• Ensure the AC sensor is wired with a load to
prevent damage to the sensor.
• Ensure a 630 mA fuse (Littelfuse part # 217.630)
is installed in series with the output to prevent
damage to the sensor.
Failure to comply with these instructions could
result in product damage.
• Wire the AC sensor with a load.
• Install a 630 mA fuse (Littelfuse part # 217.630)
in series with the output of the AC sensor.
• If wiring a 3-wire DC type sensor, refer to Wiring
Diagrams (3-wire DC) for sinking or sourcing
configuration.
