Parameters
acl acl-number: Access control list number, in the range 2000 to 3999. From 2000 to 2999 are
numbers for basic ACLs, and from 3000 to 3999 are numbers for advanced ACLs. Only directed
broadcasts permitted by the ACL can be forwarded.
Description
Use the ip forward-broadcast command to enable the interface to forward directed broadcasts to a
directly-connected network.
Use the undo ip forward-broadcast command to disable the interface from forwarding directed
broadcasts to a directly-connected network.
By default, an interface is disabled from forwarding directed broadcasts to a directly-connected
network.
Examples
# Enable VLAN-interface 2 to forward the directed broadcasts to a directly-connected network
matching ACL 2001.
