Bit
m+1
15
STOP
m+5
When this bit is turned ON (↑), positioning is decelerated to a stop according to the following
acceleration/deceleration patterns:
During execution of a positioning action: The pattern set for that positioning action.
During origin return: Origin return acceleration/deceleration pattern (X: 2023; Y: 6023)
During origin search:Origin search acceleration/deceleration pattern (X: 2023; Y: 6023)
During high-speed jogging: Jogging acceleration/deceleration pattern (X: 2024; Y: 6024)
During low-speed jogging: No deceleration
While this bit is ON, operations involving pulse output are not possible.
m+2
11 to 00
Initial Positioning Action Number
m+6
Used only when bit 01 of words m+1 (X axis) and m+5 (Y axis) is set to "1."
12
CHANGE OVERRIDE
Used for changing the override during positioning operation initiated by the START command.
When this bit is turned ON (↑) during a positioning operation initiated by START, the override
value set in bits 07 to 00 of words m+4 (X axis) and m+8 (Y axis) is changed. However, if the
"override enable" in bit 07 of words m+1 (X axis) and m+5 (Y axis) is ON when START is
executed, that override will remain enabled.
13
Home Shift Enable/Disable Setting
This bit determines whether home shift will be enabled or disabled.
0: Disabled
1: Enabled
When started for interpolation, only the X-axis settings are enabled. (This applies only to the
NC211.)
14
Not used. Always set to "0."
15
Not used. Always set to "0."
m+3
11 to 00
Teaching Positioning Action Number
m+7
Designates the positioning action address for when teaching is initiated by bit 09 of words m+1 (X
axis) and m+5 (Y axis).
15 to 12
Not used. Always set to "0."
m+4
07 to 00
Override Target Speed Number
m+8
• This sets the override value to be used when the override enable bit (bit 07 of words m+1 and m+5)
and the CHANGE OVERRIDE command (bit 12 of words m+2 and m+6) are turned ON.
• It is also used as the target speed number when the CHANGE SPEED command is executed by
means of an interrupt input or bit 06 of words m+1 (X axis) and m+5 (Y axis).
08
Forced ON/OFF Bit for Error Counter Reset
Turning this bit ON and OFF forcibly turns the error counter reset output on and off. It is only
enabled while operation is stopped.
09
Forced ON/OFF Bit for Origin Adjustment Command Output
Turning this bit ON and OFF forcibly turns the origin adjustment command output on and off. It is
only enabled while operation is stopped or during manual operation (jogging or inching).
11 to 10
Not used. Always set to "0."
12
EEPROM (Word m+4 only)
• When word m+4, bit 13 is "0":
When this bit is turned ON (↑), the data stored in EEPROM (positioning actions, parameters, accel-
eration/deceleration patterns, speeds, dwell times) are read to the internal RAM.
• When word m+4, bit 13 is "1":
When this bit is turned ON (↑), the data stored in the internal RAM (positioning actions, parameters,
acceleration/deceleration patterns, speeds, dwell times) are written to EEPROM.
13
EEPROM Read/Write Designation (Word m+4 only)
This bit designates whether data is to be read from or written to EEPROM when bit 12 of word
m+4 is turned ON.
0: Read from EEPROM
1: Write to EEPROM
14
PC Protect (Word m+4 only)
When this bit is ON, commands from the Programmable Controller are not allowed. PC protect is
cleared when the power is turned on.
