Override
There are two ways to use the override.
• Apply the override to all operations from start to finish by turning ON the over-
ride enable/disable (bit 07 of command word m+1) and executing START.
• Apply the override to operations following execution of the CHANGE OVER-
RIDE command. Set the override in advance and then make the change by
turning ON the CHANGE OVERRIDE bit (bit 12 of command word m+2). This
second method, changing the override during positioning, is the way that is il-
lustrated in this example.
Speed Editing Screen
Set the OVERRIDE bit (bit 00 to 07 of word m+4) to "16" (BCD). Turn the
CHANGE OVERRIDE bit (bit 12 of word m+2) from OFF to ON.
When CHANGE PRESENT POSITION (bit 08 of word m+1) is turned ON (i.e., at
the leading edge), the position where operation is currently stopped becomes
the parameter's present position change setting (example: 0 pulse).
Present position change setting: 0
Turn the CHANGE PRESENT POSITION command bit (bit 08 of word m+1)
