ORIGIN SEARCH
Origin search operation begins with rising edge when this bit turns ON.
The origin search operation establishes the absolute mechanical origin. The
relationships between mode numbers and operations are explained below.
Both the origin signal and the proximity signal are set as N.O. contacts (X axis:
2021; Y axis: 6021). N.C. contacts are not explained here.
The origin's response time is 1 ms. Open collector signals such as sensors are
connected to terminals 10 and 11 (for the X axis) and 32 and 33 (for the Y axis).
Refer to Section 3 Wiring . There are six different search patterns in Mode 0, as
shown in the following table, according to how the origin input and origin proximi-
ty input are received.

Rising edge
Note When using only an origin signal, the origin cannot be established except with
search pattern 0.
1. Origin proximity input: Rising edge (↑) or level
2. Origin input: Normally falling edge (↓), but rising edge (↑) when there is no
proximity signal.
3. Search procedure: Ends on falling edge of origin input after rising edge of
proximity input has been received.
If the search is started at the origin, then the search operation will be com-
pleted with only the origin signal.
When there is no origin proximity signal set, the proximity speed will be used
as the origin search speed and the search operation will be completed with
only the origin signal.
