Precautions When Using Completion Code 2 (Continuous)

In this example, the X-axis completion code is 1, so interpolation is executed au-
tomatically. For positioning action 1004, the X and Y axes are operated indepen-
dently based on the completion code (1: automatic) for the last interpolation data
(positioning action 1003).

1. When using a stepping motor (NC211 only).
Do not use completion code 2 (continuous) when using a stepping motor.
The pulse output for interpolation follows the programmed positioning, us-
ing the acceleration/deceleration pattern for the interpolation data that is
set. Therefore, executing interpolation continuous completion may cause
the acceleration/deceleration pattern for the X and Y axes to suddenly out-
