Setting Acceleration/Deceleration Patterns
Specify the addresses in the Position Control Unit for which the positioning ac-
tions are assigned. The addresses are set in four digits, as follows:
X axis: 1000 to 1499
Y axis: 5000 to 5499
+0 word
Example: 1234
Speed data addresses for the X and Y axes are indirectly designated. The
speeds are set in two digits, from 00 to 49. The addresses for both axes are as
follows:
X axis: 4000 to 4049
Y axis: 8000 to 8049
For example, if speed number 20 is set for a Y-axis positioning action, position-
ing for that positioning action will be executed at the speed registered at speed
data address 8020.
For details regarding speed data, refer to 5-4 Speeds .
Speed number (2 digits BCD)
+1 word
Example: 20
Acceleration/deceleration pattern addresses for the X and Y axes are indirectly
designated. The patterns are set in two digits, from 00 to 99. The addresses for
both axes are as follows:
X axis: 3000 to 3099
Y axis: 7000 to 7099
For example, if acceleration/deceleration pattern number 20 is set for a Y-axis
positioning action, positioning for that positioning action will be executed ac-
cording to the pattern registered at acceleration/deceleration pattern data ad-
dress 7020.
For details on how to set acceleration/deceleration patterns, refer to 5-5 Accel-
eration/Deceleration Patterns .
