4. Refer to the following information as displayed within the
Interface
Interface displays the physical/virtual interfaces used to add the ACL association to the switch.
Action
Displays the permit, deny or mark designation for the ACL. If the action is to mark, the packet is
tagged for priority.
Protocol
Displays the permit, deny or mark designation for the ACL. If the action is to mark, the packet is
tagged for priority or "type of service."
Low Source IP
Displays the Low Source IP Address from where the packets are sourced.
High Source IP
Displays the High Source (highest address in available range) IP Address from where the packets
are sourced.
Low Destination IP
Displays the Low Destination (lowest address in available range) IP Address.
High Destination IP Displays the High Destination IP Address.
Packets In
Displays the number of packets (in bytes) transmitted over the ACL.
Packets Out
Displays the number of instances this ACL has been used. Periodically review to determine
whether specific ACLs should be deleted or modified to make relevant.
