Keyboard and Pointer Redirector Messages

A critical error occurred initializing the Keyboard Pointer Redirector.

Description
This is a fatal error that causes the Keyboard Pointer Redirector to abort initialization. As a
result, keyboard and pointer devices will not be available on the CEs. This message can occur
because of:
• An error registering with the CE Transport API.
• A failure to synchronize with the IOP-based Keyboard Pointer Provider. This failure can
• Memory allocation failures.
When this message occurs, the event log dump contains an additional Windows NT status
code.
