IOPn.MtcMon FRU: The MIC on Compute Element CEx has detected a misconnected cable on its IOPy port, or the
CEx MIC has had its ID set incorrectly.
Variables x – the ID of the CE that detected the misconnection or has its MIC ID set incorrectly
y – the ID of the CE to IOP port that is in error
Severity Error
Description This condition occurs when the MIC on a booting or synchronizing CE determines that it is not
cabled correctly based on its assigned ID. This indicates either a problem with the assigned ID
or a physical cabling problem.
Action • Using the Marathon MIC setup during POST, ensure that the ID of the CEy MIC is set
• Examine the cabling between the CE and the IOPs to ensure that the connections are
