IOPn.MtcEthP Status Messages

IOPn.MtcEthP status: A call to NdisRequest timed out.
Severity Warning
Description An NdisRequest to set or query the NIC timed out. The Ethernet Provider retries the request
several times and may attempt to reset the NIC. If all requests timeout or fail, the NIC will be
failed.
Action Reboot the IOP to clear the error condition on the NIC. You may want to power cycle the IOP
when you reboot it. Refer to
for information about how to reboot an IOP.
IOPn.MtcEthP status: A call to NdisReset timed out.

Description An NdisReset on the NIC timed out. The Ethernet Provider retries the request several times. If

IOPn.MtcEthP status: A critical error occurred initializing the Ethernet Provider.
Severity Error
Description This message is logged if an error is returned by a Windows NT system routine during the early
stages of MtcEthP initialization. The Event Log Data section contains the Windows NT error
code.
Action Contact your service provider for assistance.
