Description
This message occurs when a command is issued to shut down the CE's operating system. The
results of the shutdown request are entered in the system event log.

IOPn.MtcMon status: An Endurance Manager request to shut down the
operating system on the CE(s) could not be performed because shutdown is
already in progress.
IOPn.MtcMon status: The Windows NT operating system on the CE(s) is being
shut down.
IOPn.MtcMon status: The Windows NT operating system on the active CE(s)
has been shut down by operator request.
IOPn.MtcMon status: The CE operating system shutdown request completed
successfully.
IOPn.MtcMon status: The CE operating system shutdown request failed.
IOPn.MtcMon status: CEx has been removed from service.

Synchronization cannot be performed because of a temporary condition in the CE operating
system.

This message is generated as a result of a software condition that exists in the CE operating
system.
Action
• CE synchronization is retried automatically. When the condition is cleared,
• If the condition persists, synchronization cannot be performed. In this case, contact your
