The IOP ID programmed into the MIC
adapter by the MIC BIOS setup
program does not match the IOP ID
programmed into the HP NetServer
AA software. MtcMICX is not loaded,
and the IOP cannot join the HP
NetServer AA configuration.
The first additional data item specifies
the IOP ID programmed into the MIC
adapter. The second additional data
item specifies the IOP ID
programmed into the HP NetServer
AA software.
10 MIC is in loopback mode
The MIC adapter is in loopback mode.
MtcMICX will not register with the
HP NetServer AA Monitor until the
MIC is removed from loopback mode.
12 Cannot create device
Could not create an object for the MIC
adapter with IoCreateDevice.
The status code returned by the
IoCreateDevice system service is
also logged as additional data.
13 Cannot read Registry
MtcMICX could not read its startup
parameters from the Windows NT
Registry.

Action
• Reboot the IOP and enter the BIOS setup program.
• Modify the IOP ID so that it matches the IOP ID that
was specified when the HP NetServer AA software was
installed on this IOP.
• Optionally, reinstall the HP NetServer AA software on
this IOP to match the ID programmed in the MIC
adapter by the BIOS setup program.
Remove the loopback connector from the MIC module
and attach the fiber cables to the MIC module.
Contact your service provider if you encounter this message.
• Reinstall the HP NetServer AA software on the IOP.
This should recreate the Windows NT Registry
information for MtcMICX.
• If this does not resolve the problem, contact your service
provider for assistance.
