Description
This message is generated if an IOP receives a message over the ESI or IL that has a legal
transport command type, but is not valid to be received by the IOP. The Fault Handler is
invoked, and an IOP or a CE may be removed as a result of this event.

Hardware/Software
Usually, this message is a result of a software error. In rare cases, it can be due to a hardware
error that results in the corruption of data on an IOP or CE.
Action
• When this message is generated, preserve the Fault Handler's event log information and
• If the IOP is removed as a result of the event, a crash dump may be generated.
• If this condition persists, contact your service provider for assistance.
