MtcCEX: Could not transition IOPx MIC port to DISABLED.
Variables x – ID of the IOP associated with the MIC adapter port that failed.
Severity Warning
Description This message displays in a Windows NT blue screen on a monitor attached directly to a CE
during CE operating system boot when the HP NetServer AA CE Transport cannot disable a
MIC adapter port as requested by the IOP during the boot process. The CE Transport attempts
to continue the boot process.
Hardware/Software This message is most likely the result of a failure of the CE MIC adapter or an IOP MIC
adapter.
Action • If CE boot does not succeed immediately or after retrying, first replace the CE MIC
• If the problem persists, contact your service provider for assistance.
MtcCEX: HP NetServer AA CE MIC Transport y is initializing.
Variables y – the version of the CE Transport ( MtcCEX.sys )

Description This message displays in a Windows NT blue screen on a monitor attached directly to a CE
during CE operating system boot when the HP NetServer AA CE Transport begins
initialization.
Hardware/Software This message is generated by HP NetServer AA software.
Action No action is necessary. This message is followed by an advancing sequence of periods on the
screen, indicating progress of the initialization of the CE MIC Transport.
