IOPn.MtcMon Fault Handler status: The Fault Handlers have failed to exchange synchronization information during
the merge process.
Severity Error
Description The join process between two IOPs failed because either the Fault Handler on the remote IOP
rejected the Fault Handler join request sent by this IOP, or because it failed to respond
altogether.
Related Messages
IOPn.MtcMon Fault Handler status: The joining IOP has received a Fault
Handler join request from another IOP, but the local IOP state is
incorrect.
Action Check the event log on the remote IOP to determine why it rejected, or failed to answer, the
join request issued by the Fault Handler on this IOP.
IOPn.MtcMon Fault Handler status: The joining IOP encountered an error or operator action that caused it to shut
down before it completed the joining process.
Severity Error
Description The local IOP encountered an error or an operator command that caused it to shut down during
the joining process. The IOP was in the process of shutting down when it received a join
request from the remote IOP. The join request was refused.
