IOPn.MtcVnP Status Messages

IOPn.MtcVnP status: Error in Virtual Network Provider device configuration.
Severity Error
Description This event is logged during Virtual Network Provider initialization if an error is detected in the
Virtual Network device configuration.
Action If reported following a software upgrade, reapply the upgrade to the IOPs. Contact your service
provider for assistance.
IOPn.MtcVnP status: Error writing to the Registry.
Severity Error
Description The Virtual Network Provider was unable to write a value to the
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\MtcVnP\Parameter
key in the Registry.
Action View the event data as Words. The last longword of data should contain a Windows NT error
code that can be used by your service provider to help diagnose the problem.
IOPn.MtcVnP status: Invalid Registry parameter. Using default value.
Severity Warning
Description During initialization, MtcVnP reads optional parameters from the Registry. This event is
logged if a parameter is outside the acceptable range. The Event Log Data section contains the
invalid parameter value. MtcVnP will use the default value for the parameter.
Action Run a Registry editor and note the values under
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\MtcVnP\Parameters.
Contact your service provider for assistance.
