Chapter 11 — Library Troubleshooting

Power On the Library

Press and hold the front panel power button for two to three seconds until
the button's LED illuminates. Wait while the library completes its power-
on sequence, which takes about five minutes (depending on the library
configuration). During the power-on sequence the library initializes all of
its installed components. The library is ready to begin operation when the
login screen displays on the front panel.

Reimport Media Packs and Update Inventory

If you removed media packs from the front of the library, reimport them
using the library user interface and TAP (see
Pool or Cleaning Partition on page
After you finish importing the media packs, update the inventory using
your backup software.

Restart Backups

Use your backup software to restart any backup processes running on
library.
