software accessing this partition can handle any server
contention over drive use that can result from multiple paths to a
single drive.
Configure the E-QIP on page
Note:
If you previously configured an E-QIP partition in the library,
you do not need to complete the steps in the next section,
although reviewing the settings is recommended. If desired,
select Skip Ports, then proceed directly to
Partition Settings on page
Settings screen displays.
This screen configures addressing for the E-QIP selected as the
controller (see

A QIP can export multiple partitions. If the QIP is being used to
export more than one partition, a confirmation screen displays to
