The 8.4-inch color touch screen on the front of the library provides access to
the BlueScale user interface through the Library Controller (LC). You can
select options and enter information by simply touching the appropriate
location on the screen. A stylus included with the library simplifies using
the touch screen. The user interface displayed on the library's touch screen
includes a soft keyboard you can use to enter alphanumeric characters into
text fields. This soft keyboard can be accessed from the keyboard icon that
displays whenever text input is required.
The user interface lets you set configuration options, view library and
drive information and metrics, manage media, monitor library operations,
and perform maintenance operations. For detailed information about the
