Advanced Service Options

You may wish to purchase more advanced service options that go above
and beyond the one-year Next Business Day On-Site Service that is
provided with the library. The following options are available in the
United States and western Europe. For more information about these
options, contact SpectraGuard Technical Support.
24-Hour Telephone Access
In addition to the service offered with Next Business Day On-Site Service,
the 24-Hour Telephone Access option offers users an immediate response
by a SpectraGuard technical representative at any time. This service is
valid 24 hours a day, seven days a week. This option is only available as an
addition to an existing support program.
Four-Hour Response On-Site Service
This service includes 24-hour telephone access to a Technical Support
representative seven days a week, 365 days a year. Once a SpectraGuard
Technical Support representative determines that the library requires
repair, an on-site service provider will be dispatched. Once dispatched, a
field service representative will arrive on site within four hours of the
determination.
Same Business Day On-Site Service with Four-Hour
Response
This service includes 24-hour telephone access to a Technical Support
representative seven days a week, 365 days a year. Once a SpectraGuard
Technical Support representative determines that the library requires
repair, an on-site service provider will be dispatched, Monday through
Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Once dispatched, a field service
representative will arrive on site within four hours of the determination.
Note that dispatches must be made by 1:00 p.m. local time to assure same
business day response; otherwise, the response will be the next business
day.
Assisted Self-Maintenance (ASM)
ASM can be purchased to supplement either Next Business Day On-Site
Service or Four-Hour Response On-Site Service. ASM allows for a select
group of parts to be stocked at the customer's site, in turn allowing the
customer to make immediate repairs with telephone assistance from
Spectra Logic.
