Interpreting SAIT LEDs
The following table describes the states for the SAIT front panel LEDs and
their meaning.
Color and State
Green ALL lit (0.5 second)
then Yellow blinks across

SAIT Drive Cleaning Notification
Whenever a tape is loaded or unloaded, the read/write heads are
physically cleaned by a brush located within the drive. Occasionally, the
drive may alert you that it requires additional cleaning flashing the
Cleaning Request LED or by notifying the backup software. When a
cleaning is required, follow the instructions in

reset.
