6.4.8 Adjust the length of the ProfiDAT
®
The ProfiDAT compact rails have a standard length of 5 m. Shorter lengths are available, but are usually produced at the
installation site.

Work steps:
→ Determine the required length of the data rail.
→ The cutting direction (1) must be from the closed rail side.
→ Saw the rails at right angles with the cross-cut saw.
→ Drill holes and countersinks with the step drill M3 90° for connectors using the drilling jig.
→ Deburr all edges in Area A and Area B according to DIN ISO 13715 (Fig. 99).
