9.2 Diagnosis via the transceiver LED state
The first approach to diagnosing the transceivers without a computer is to evaluate the LED state on the transceiver itself.
Essentially, the LEDs of all Siemens Scalance devices behave the same. As an example, an excerpt from the manual of the device
