Adjustment of Master Cylinder
7. Remove the return spring from the
clutch pedal.
8. Loosen the master cylinder push rod
lock nut.
9. Turn in the push rod until it makes
contact with the piston.
10. Return the push rod from this position
by 2/5 to 4/5 of a turn. At this point,
the gap between the tip of the push
rod and the piston should be 0.5 to
1.0 mm (0.02 to 0.04 in).
11. Fasten the lock nut firmly and install
the return spring.
