When the RIIDEye is first powered on, you will see a screen that shows the results of
an initial Power-On Self-Test (POST). A properly functioning unit will have a display
similar to that shown in
Figure 13: Successful POST screen
The self test reports the following information:
1. Internal firmware version in the upper right corner
2. Power supply test results
3. Main board test results
4. Internal RIIDEye temperature
5. Expected battery life remaining (if not connected to AC power)
