For example, click the "Port ID 2", and then click the [Properties] Button, you will see the
following [Port Properties] Dialog Box.
LAN card configuration example:
If there is only one wired LAN port of the computer and the Motor condition monitoring Tool
communicates with the K6CM device with that wired LAN port, select the following.
(If the name of the network connection has been changed, select the one with the changed
name.)
• Windows 7
Select a LAN card in the "Name" field is "Local Area Connection" is displayed.
• Windows 8.1/Windows 10
Select a LAN card that is displayed is "Ethernet" in the "Name" field.
When multiple ports are set, the port with the smallest ID number in the [Port ID] column
is automatically used.
Precautions for Correct Use
Do not select AutoIP address (169.254.xxx.xxx: x is an arbitrary number).
If IP addresses other than the AutoIP address are not displayed, the IP address of the com-
puter is not set.
Set the IP address of the computer before performing this procedure again in reference to
"4-3-1 IP Address Setting of Your PC on page 4-24".
