P9-03
P9-04: Alternation Mode
n
No.
P9-04
Alternation can be requested by a drive when a specified time has expired. Two basic modes allow the timer to either run from
the lead drive (LIFO – Last In, First Out) or from the first drive (FIFO – First In, First Out) where the First drive is defined
as the first pump that was run in the system and the Last drive is defined as the Lead Drive. When the timer expires, the drive
is removed from the system, turned-off, and a new lead drive is brought online to replace it.
Alternation is enabled when P9-03, Alternation Time, is set to a non-zero value. In FIFO, the timer is run on the first drive
and in LIFO it is on the lead drive. When the timer expires, the drive requests alternation based on the P9-04 setting and sends
that information to the MEMOBUS network.
Setting 0: First in, first out auto
Removes the first drive in the running queue and starts the lead drive automatically (if needed) using the MEMOBUS Multiplex
function. When there is only one drive running, then the new lead drive is forced to run since the MEMOBUS Multiplex
function cannot run if there is no lead drive.
Setting 1: First in, first out forced
Removes the first drive in the running queue and forces a new lead drive to run.
Setting 2: Last in, first out
Removes the current lead drive and replaces it with a new lead drive.
Setting 3: First in, first out @sleep
Removes the first drive in the running queue and forces a new lead drive to run, but alternation is only requested when the
drive is asleep. The new lead drive is selected using parameter P9-01.
P9-05: Lag Drive Mode
n
Determines the function of the lag drives.
No.
P9-05
Setting 0: Fixed speed
Runs at the P9-06 setting after the P9-07 time expires.
Setting 2: Turn off
Drive stops running when it switches to a lag drive after the P9-07 time expires.
Setting 3: Follow lead speed
The drive will follow the speed of the current Lead drive applying P9-30 gain and P9-31 bias.
P9-06: Lag Fixed Speed
n
Sets the speed at which the drive will run when the drive changes from a lead to a lag after the P9-07 delay time expires and
P9-05 is set to 0.
No.
P9-06
P9-07: Lag Fixed Speed Delay
n
Sets the time that speed is latched when the drive changes from a lead to a lag and P9-05 ≠ 1 before reacting based on the
P9-05 setting.
